Est. 2004

In 2013, Moreland & Co was awarded with the CQS accreditation by The Law Society.

The scheme, regulated by The Law Society, is open to law firms with residential property departments, and was set up to establish a recognised quality benchmark for conveyancing. By acquiring CQS accreditation members establish a much higher degree of credibility with lenders, insurers, regulators and consumers.

On its website, The Law Society states:

“The scheme creates a trusted community which will deter fraud - year on year we will drive up standards.”

The application process is detailed and rigorous, making the accreditation a real achievement for our firm and reinforces Moreland & Co's dedication to providing excellent client care and the best possible service to its clients.

It can often be difficult for home-owners to choose a firm of solicitors and schemes like this can really help consumers make an informed decision based on performance and quality.

At Moreland & Co we aim to provide a high quality, effective and cost efficient service in all property related transactions, irrespective of the size of the transaction.

Whether you are involved in commercial or residential transactions, are involved in a single sale or purchase of a property, are a first time buyer or an experienced property developer with a small or large property portfolio, our experienced conveyancers can assist and guide you at every juncture of the transaction.

We also deal with the re-mortgaging of all types of properties.  We appreciate that, on most occasions, the reason for re-mortgaging is because clients require funds urgently. We, therefore, endeavour to provide a speedy service without sacrificing the quality of our service or advice.

We are currently registered with the conveyancing panels of most Banking/Lending Institutions, thus affording our clients the use of a broad spectrum of lenders.  We also act for a number of lenders and bridging loan companies, so are experienced in both sides of the loan transaction.

Our fees for property transactions are highly competitive with other high street law firms and are agreed at the outset so that know exactly what they paying for.
